After a year of shaking and repping the M-Dubz airplays, lyrical monster, Zeze has finally released the music video for his single Victory, which premiered on his YouTube channel on the 10th March 2019.
Released early last year, the song became successful spawning on various local media houses’ urban music shows.
However the song’s music video was delayed due to various challenges, one of which was the relocation of Zeze to South Africa where some scenes of the video were shot.
According to the Zeze, even though the video was delayed, he is excited with the release.
“We started it last year in Malawi and due to some personal reason, I had to move to South Africa. That was the biggest challenge but the challenge turned into a good thing in the end because finally the video is out.” He said.
The Ron Cz directed video was shot in southern region on Ndata road and partly shot in South Africa at an undisclosed location with cameo appearance by Mdubs soccer superstar Gabadinho Mhango.
“I wanted to tell my story which I happen to share with Gabadinho. We grew up together, went to the same school, and struggled together. And now we feel victorious because we keep trying to elevate ourselves to the top.” He said.
Added he, “Gaba is a big star, he’s a big brand and I appreciate him as a friend and a brother. So him being part of the story he decided to take part in the video as a way of appreciating my talent.
Zeze alias Robert Zeze Ching’amba Junior, praised the song’s success and without having a lot of expectations having its video released after a year.
“I love this song, I love the audio and now love the video. I’m not really expecting much, I’ll be happy with everything that comes after the release, being good or bad, but that won’t change how I feel about this song and my talent.” He said.
The artist was introduced into music by M-Dubz legends, Dare Devils who are his directed uncles dating back to 2009. Currently, he is currently being managed by his long-time associate, director Ron Cz.
