Dream come true! After hitting M-Dubz with his unique touch of articulating ‘gospel’ issues, secu-gospel ‘comic’ artist, Wikise has coaxed revered Zambian artists, Macky 2, parodist General Kanene, and Chimzy Kelly in a remix of Uli N’zingati scheduled for early March this year. It has been learnt.
Wikise made the announcement early this month via his official Facebook page, Wikise.
Uli N’zingati utters how money has taken over the world today, how people value money more than anything. There is literary no service that Malawians are offering for free nowadays. It addresses how the power of the Kwacha has reigned through Malawian livelihood.
According to Che Wikise, remixing the song is one step into international recognition not only in Zambia but Africa and globally in general.
“Despite the reason for remixing this song being my favorite track, my plan has always been to build a fan base in Zambia. That is why you see the Zambia’s big names on the song’s feature line up.” He said.
Unlike Young D who collaborated with Oga Family last year, Wikise is aiming for the shows and promotion the release of the song and future projects in Zambia.
“I am planning a lot of projects with artists internationally, and yes Zambia is my first step. I will be going to Zambia to promote the original version of this song prior to the release of this remix. I am speaking shows” He clarified.
Meanwhile, as part of his current project, Wikise is working on a compilation of a DVD which includes songs like Deliverance, Shabalakatali and Galamukani among others.
