Popular MBC TV personality, Chizmo, is set for a new lease of life in the movie industry with a short movie, “House Maid”.
Chizmo, alias Chisomo Manda, who is popular for his program, SELFIE TIME on MBC TV says time has come for him to show his dexterity in the movie industry in the said forthcoming movie debut.
Slated for release on the 29th of April 2019, “House Maid” is a depiction of realities in the social spheres of our locales in the current generation.
According to Manda, the movie was shot in an urban setting where Mary, (Towera Msiska) the housemaid is wreaking havoc in the lives of a youthful couple. The maid is using her striking physique to lure the unsuspecting hubby.
“The movie addresses some realities married couple go through in their day to day endeavors. It’s all about the agonies married men go through in overcoming sexual advances from the female folks,” he revealed.
Manda further adds that the movie was a unique example of the other side of men.
“Normally, men are seen as weaklings when it comes to controlling their desires more especially when on the negative end of female sexual advance,” says he.
“House maid”, according to Manda, is a preamble of his life in the movie industry as he is set on an onslaught into releasing more of soul-touching films.
“I’d like to add some flavor into our blossoming movie industry. You’ll see more of such movies in the coming months,” he promises.
Mzuzu-based Mest Media was the brains behind the whole production.
Part of the cast included Chisomo himself, Uncle B, and Towera Msiska.
