One common denominator for a majority of M-Dubz’ urban songs, more especially from up and coming musicians is their utopian lifestyles of cash, cars, and girlz…simply put, most of the songs from these budding stars is their dream lifestyles where partying…clubbing you name it, is the order of the day.
That, however, is not the course of action one budding rapper, Yonzo B has taken in his latest single, “Ndikupepesa” (I’m apologizing).
“Ndikupepesa”, (I’m apologizing) sees Yonzo B playing the role of a sexagenarian who is wincing over his rotten youthful past.
According to the artist, the song is dedicated to Malawian youths who tend to spend more time on irrelevant issues instead of focusing on shaping their futures.
“I know whatsoever we are doing now as youths, will reflect to us in the near future. We tend to spend more time on drinking, smoking, womanizing, etc. instead of focusing on positive things that will help us like education, entrepreneurship just to mention a few,” he said.
About the song, the budding artist says it is a must listen song as it is rich in mind changing messages especially to the youth.
“I want all musical lovers to listen to this song and get the message. I know it will change some of us” he coaxes.
The artist had to add…
“Nobody is gonna be forever young. We will be fathers and mothers one day. If we don’t plan for our future now, we’ll create a chain of poverty. Our generation will live in abject poverty courtesy of our carelessness,” he warns.
Taktic and Dre Beats are the hands been behind the production of the song.
