While many Christians are tempted to doubt the power of God due to the challenges interfering with their faith, Blantyre based up and coming gospel rapper Papa Favor conveys message of hope in a new song, Mulungu Si Munthu.
According to the artist, the song is dedicated to the people who tend to lose trust in God because of turbulent times they are sailing through.
“In life, we got a lot of ups and downs, that’s how life is but we just have to keep on praying and look forward because God is always with us. And we should always keep in mind that God is not a man.” He said.
Papa Favor born Takondwa Ngomwa, was influenced by the lack of patience that many Christians display when seek instant feedback from God for their prayer requests.
“For what God has done into my life every time when I recalled where I coming from reminds me not to sit down and relax but to do this song and alert people to keep on praying. If they pray hard to Him they can see miracle and wonders,” said the artist.
Despite having few song releases, the 23 year old artist has promised more music and a possibility of an album.
“Actually, Malawians should expect more good music from me as I will give them best singles and they should expect more shows across the country as well as dropping album by the end of this year.” Says he.
