Greciam Nyambo. Do you still remember him?? Yeah! That guy. Who rose to fame with his track, Mapeto ake, way back is back in town. Unlike the past, this time around he’s now a changed person, physically and spiritually.
Nyambo is now into gospel music. To cement this, he’s released a single titled, Chisomo.
In an interview, Nyambo said his decision to abandon secular music is not necessitated by anyone but God and the willingness to save lost souls.
“There’s nothing I can do in this world than singing for the Lord. As an artist, I know my talent is coming from him and it is now my duty to sing for him and spread the gospel.
I have released both audio and video of this song which for me is a prayer where in the song am asking the Lord to be a guardian angel all the time,” he said.
He however, admits that since the switching to Gospel music, he has not done enough on the ground as regards to his music career. But he comes out fast to tell his fans that his profile will be raised to the brim this year, from this new project and others that would follow.
He adds: “For now I will drop Extended Play (EP) and after good promotion, I may release an album release probably next year.
I am really honored that my song has been received well by music fans so far. And I rate this as my best song ever. I believe it will open up greater opportunities for my gospel career and I have come to stay and teach the word of God with enthusiasm.”
Chisomo was recorded and produced at CL touch studios in Lilongwe by Viwe Chibwana
