THE YOUNG GENERATION
By Lawrence Nachipo.
It has always been said countless times that nobody can succeed single-handedly. At one point or the other, we all need somebody to lean on.
No matter how impressive your lyric can be, if it has no listener, it is just another line; meaningless. In the same way, no matter how sweet your melody can be, but if there are no ears to listen to it, then you are nothing but a valueless person.
A teacher cannot be called so if there is no student. Entertainment Malawi as well, cannot be there if there is nobody to consume its media products.
This is why it is important that once we are successful, The Young Generation should never forget the people who have assisted us to be there. We should never start swaggering around thinking we are larger than life. You may be successful, right! But your success was not earned single-handedly.
What if… what if not…anyway, fellow talented youths, let us learn to appreciate the pivotal role our clients and those around us play for our success. Let us desist from becoming larger-than-life when successful for once we start falling, it is going to be the very same people we are ridiculing that are going to be behind our backs.
Let us learn not leave pride to its residential area; out of our minds. Let us appreciate the role those around us have made for us to be where we are currently.
