Having successfully launched his maiden EP, “Bambi”, early August, up and coming musician, Jiddelano has decided to finish off the launching party with a Turn –Up at Sana in Lilongwe on the 5th of October 2019, it has been learnt.
Born Kelvin Lano, Jiddelano says the Turn-Up is a thank-you gesture to his fans for supporting his first step into the professional world of music.
“I’ve decided that I should celebrate together with my fans so that they should feel my appreciation for supporting me in the launch (of the EP),” he revealed.
The seven track EP which has songs like “Ndiwe Wekha”, “Sungapange handle”, and “Bambi Cover” among others, was largely centred on love, and life in general.
“The EP mainly centred on preaching love, as well as other general life issues. It’s a compilation that’s targeting a cross section of audiences,” he says.
True to his calls, one of the hit songs, “Sungapange Handle” talks of the irony of life whereby one’s needs not being met courtesy of limited resources.
“We’ve unlimited wants in life. Unfortunately, we can’t satisfy all of our needs. Therefore, this song teaches us to understand that and live within our means,” he enlightened.
Meanwhile, the bearded artist promises goodies on this day.
“People should expect a lot on this day. I won’t reveal much but there will be performances from seasoned and up and coming artists alike. You talk of Binge, King Vimbuza and many others.” Says he.
Jiddelano, is currently in the booth preparing for an album to be released next year; an album that is going to have some international flavours in the like of Nigeria’s Gibson Gambi, and Zambia’s Sinox C.
