NBB DOMINATE THE FLAMES SQUAD ( AFCON)

New faces have dominated the 27 man squad released by the new Flames mentor Ronny Van Geneugden, to start camping in readiness for and AFCON qualifier match against Comoros on June 10 2017.

According to the list released by the Football Association of Malawi, RVG has mainly trusted new and youthful faces mainly from the country‘s elite league.

Overall squad has seen Nyasa Big Bullets fc having a lion’s share by contributing five players seconded by Beforward Wanderers having 4 players whilst most improved team in the topflight league Wizard fc, and Red Lions have each contributed 2 players.

Defending champions Kamuzu Barracks Fc and Blue Eagles FC have each contributed one player.

The squad has seen faces of nine international-based professional players in the likes of talk of Gabadinho Mhango Bidvest Wits – RSA, Frank Banda (HBC Songo) and Owen Chaima among others.

Veteran workhorse, Chimango Kayira, Beforward’s engineroom, Joseph Kamwendo and Silver Strikers’ goal minder, Brighton Munthali have all missed RVG’s bus.
