Events going on in the life of rising afro-dancehall icon Jay Jay Cee have persuaded him to release his first single this year, Nenaninso, on February 26th, EM has learnt.

Initially, EM had learnt that Jay Jay Cee was set to release a single, Friends, which he did with his long -time ally, Saint, of the Delilah fame. The song was to be out next month (March 2018).

But due to other reasons best known to the artist, Jay Jay Cee has opted for Nenaninso; a song that has been inspired by his real life events.

Nenaninso is a feel-good-song about Jay Jay Cee’s victory over his foes. It is an inspiration to all those who look down upon themselves and also challenges his foes who had been undermining the youngster’s prowess.

“It talks about victory in the way that I am reminding all the Doubting Thomases who used to undermine my capabilities back then. There were a lot of people who never wished me well, so I’m calling upon them to see where I am today,” he revealed.

A Raj Records, and Dash production, Nenaninso marks the genesis of a litany of singles from the youngster as he is set to release his maiden album next year.

Among others, Jay Jay Cee is poised to feature Saint, Toast, Piksy, Martse, and Theo Thomson in the singles he is releasing this year.

If all goes as planned, this year, Jay Jay Cee plans to release a minimum of eight songs in readiness for his yet-to-be-named album.

Expect a variety of Midas touches from some of the revered producers in Jay Jay Cee’s songs.

“Beats are from the likes of Zephy Mr Oldies, Gafar, Raj Records, and many others. As for the production, it’s strictly from Audience Records, and RAJ Records,” Jay Jay Cee revealed.

That is not all, the award winning dancehall star also plans to release over ten music videos to accompany the audios.

EM will keep you updated as Jay Jay Cee unravels his new dish for this year.
