Up and coming gospel lyricist, Fantastic Farajan’s scintillating prowess has earned him praise from some established musicians and fans in that genre.

The youngster, who has rose to fame with his smasher, Sekerera (a duet with Suxess) early this year, is now one of the most sought after budding gospel artists locally.

Random interviews reveal that some local gospel music die-hards are convinced the youngster is on the right track, labeling him as a future custodian of the genre in the country. One of such veterans, Chimwemwe Binauli, a lead vocalist with Kamuzu Barracks Gospel Band says the youngster is one amazing talent Malawians have to be looking out for.

“We cannot skip the name Fantastic Farajan when writing the book of young and up and coming gospel artists in Malawi. This boy has a strong vision and capability to uplift this industry,” he articulates.

Apparently, Binauli was featured in the youngster’s song, Sinner.

Precious Banda, a local gospel music die-hard, also showered praises on the 21 year-old’s dexterity despite his (Fantastic’) youthful age.

“It’s quite interesting and I could say he has quite a vision and having our own young gospel artist being featured with the likes of Binauli is a sign the kid has a bright future,” commended he.

Another fan, Ephie Nthanda from Mponela, Fantastic’s home town, felt happy having her townboy dining with some of the country’s greats in the gospel world.

“It’s our Mponela artist, the artist of our days, artist of our area, the artist we never thought could make it. We’re very motivated,” she praised.

Born Canaan Farajani, Fantastic Farajani is still growing up in the world of music locally. Currently, he is to start shooting a music video of Sinner.
