After soaring high with a smasher, “Mukandipepesere” a couple of years back, soft-voiced afro-pop artist, DNA is back from his musical hibernation with a brand new album, “Dziko la amuna”.
According to the Mzuzu-based artist, “Dziko ndi amuna” which is to be released in due course, takes the listener into agonies one undergoes in their pursuit of a loved one.
“It’s a love journey. Along the way, the album reveal the agonies one bumps into as they’re hunting for their loved one to-be,” he revealed.
Last time DNA hit the airwaves was in 2015 when he dropped Mizizi album, an honour to his offspring. Asked him why he took so long, DNA says he wanted to dish out the best for his fans.
“I don’t release an album or song simply because everybody else is doing so. I see an issue or need to address, and then I hit the booth. This is why my music lives on,” he claims.
“Dziko ndi amuna” has 13 tracks and has seen a number of producers working on it. Tacktic of Frame City records, is amongst them.
