Weird regalia? Check! Beers? Check!!! Open air disco? Check!!
For once, the huffing and puffings in the corridors of various lecture rooms will be erased from their memories. For once, spending sleepless nights in the not-so-good looking library (by modern standards, and no harm intended), will be out of their minds.
This weekend, the intelligentsia at the magnificent Chancellor college will leave all their academic miseries behind as they will be consuming the aura of ecstasy thanks to Tikomoke Sosho weekend, which is slated to take centre stage from this Friday, the 17th November up to Sunday, the 19th of November 2018.
Unlike her sister sosho weekends previously, Tikomoke will be unique in that minus the merriment, it will also be a bye-bye- jamboree to the final year students from the institution.
And what a way to send them finales into the industry with some jams from some of the country’s urban music heavyweights in Gwamba, Nepman, Mafo et al who are all geared to mesmerize fans with their dazzling stage dexterities as well as maad punchlines.
According to one of the members of the organizing team, Brian Banda, himself the college’s Entertainment Director, nothing will stop Tikomoke from being memorable.
“As Entercom (Entertainment Committee) we want it to be very unique and lively throughout as we’re bidding farewell to our colleague who are completing their studies here,” he said.
The gala, will see the audience feasting itself to dancing competitions, weightlifting, and eating competition among the many goodie-goodies that have been lined- up for the weekend.
One of the juniors at the college, Omex Chama, a student in Bachelor of Education (Computer Science) can’t just wait!
“As a ‘yearo’ my anticipating for this fiesta is just so huge! It’s gonna be my maiden intercourse with a social weekend, so you just know!” he exhilarated.
