“It is childish for the youths to be boasting of their earthly possessions!”
That is the message One of Mzuzu’s up and coming rappers, Slim D, is preaching in his upcoming song, “Zisatikhuze.”
According to the song, youths need to be minding their businesses, by among others, not letting every feat of their private life go public.
“A lot of people, especially the youth, will always boast of what they have or what their parents have when with their peers. This has a room of breeding low self-esteem amongst those lacking basic necessities their peers are boasting of. So I feel what somebody has or does should not be deliberately brought onto the public arena so as to belittle others,” says the song.
“Zisatikhuze”, a Tactic (of Flame City Records) production, is going to hit the airwaves on the 1st of April 2019. Above all, it is also going to be premiered on the popular Made on Monday programme on Two FM.
Slim D, born Chifundo Darwin Limbani has been pushing his musical game for some time now. According to him, good things still lie ahead.
“Zisatikhuze is just a drop of what people should expect from me this year. I won’t talk much but I’m going to let my music do the talking,” he challenged.
