Mzuzu based Afro-Pop duo, Black warriors has promised fire ahead of its maiden album launch, Pakamwa this Saturday, 8th September 2018, at Mzuzu Tourist lodge in the Green city.
Pakamwa is a 12 track album with an overall theme of lifestyles of Malawian youths ranging from overcoming adolescent challenges, love lives, and partying among others.
Having been in the industry for about 12 years now, the pair, made up of Ob General, and Bunney Wella says time is now ripe for their fans to taste what Black Warriors is all about.
“It has taken us over a year to work on this album, just to give our fans good music. One of the songs we featured Mafo and another one with new upcoming artists Sycriss and Jinksy” OB said.
On his part, Bunny said the launch is a fulfillment of their promise to their fans.
“We are releasing this album this Saturday to fulfill our promises to our fans, we had promised them last year that we were working on this album titled, so we are living to our words,” revealed he.
The launch will see various curtain-raisers from the who and whos in the urban music circles in the city. Minus that, CDs for the album will also be on sale.
