South African based Malawian hip-hop mogul, BFB has roped in Mzansi’s female icon of the moment, Fifi Cooper, and Fredokiss in his new single called, “Kapolo”.
In an interview, BFB said the development of working with Fifi Cooper is aimed at taking his music a step further on the international level.
“I believe in development. Most of my music from this time around with have some international spice. I wanna break the international barriers,” he promises.
The song, “Kapolo” is about the emancipation of black people on different levels, and freeing black people from different oppressive behaviours at all levels.
“We are all slaves to something in modern days, some are enslaved to Instagram some are enslaved to drinking habits, some are enslaved to spending before paying bills that’s why the song is titled Kapolo.” Reveals he.
BFB is optimistic that working with Fredokiss, and Fifi was a move in the right direction as the duo have some respect in their own fields.
“The main aim of working with her and Fredokiss was to take my music to another level. Both Fredoh, and Fifi are gurus in their lines of operations. They’re a dream team so to speak,” he praised.
On her part, Fifi Cooper who many know her with a hit song, Kuze – a collabo with fellow country folk, Emtee, described the combination as another milestone for her music career.
“We are all happy to work together on something like this song because we were all introduced to each other by Hip-hop Pantsula; since his passing, this is our first meeting and has proved to be productive,” she said.
