loving M-Dubz urban music like nobody’s biz
Profile By Langson Kalua Junior
In M-Dubz urban music books, only a handful of paragraphs could be dedicated to females. Sangie, Lady Pace, Hazel Makk, Hilco, Tuno…. and a very few others have been hitting our airwaves consistently. The rest are just within the average mark. Nothing more peculiar.
Temwa is one of those elite female urban musicians who are throwing in everything to keep the momentum in the planet that is overly dominated by their male counterparts.
Her songs, Hangover, and Mudya stole the hearts of many an M-Dubz music faithfuls. That aside, she is also one of the selected few ladies who can rap, and also sing…like two different characters all together.
So, what’s her journey into this musical business? What’s her thoughts about M-Dubz music in general?

I discovered my talent when I was really young. Our family used to sing church hymns at home sometimes at church. Matter of fact, I was in the church choir.
Then when I was in high school I started recording my music in 2009. My first producer was Venom of Verbal slaughter inc. By then, I was known as Spotless. I used to rap a lot too but not anymore. I found a wider fan base in the singing category; that’s when I changed and got signed with DMG (Direct Music Group) with Genii Blak. That’s when I started taking my music career seriously
