The beauty pageant was the climax of the grand social weekend, by the three institutions. Among others, drinking competitions, volleyball, and sack racing, and other performances were part of the sizzling fiesta.
According to the Acting Organizing Chair of the event, Priscilla Khaiya, the event surpassed her expectation and people should brave for more improved subsequent events.
“We’d some doubts it was going to be this successful! The fans, the participants, and everything was just splendid! This is going to be an everyday day event in the coming semesters,” she said.
Meanwhile, the newly crown beauty Queen says she would like to involve herself in charitable activities so as to spread more positive images of the three academic institutions.
“Part of my everyday activities as Miss Intercom will be to be the face of the three institutions. I’d like people to have positive images about our institutions as you’re aware, people out there associate college life with delinquency. There’s something positive that does come from these three colleges,” she enlightened.
MCA’s Idah Nyondo scooped the first princess whilst the second princess accolade went to a Nacy from Mij.
